Francisco Costa was one of the few designers who did not fall for the prints. But it was not shocking at all, he gave us instead his signature minimalism with clean silhouettes in the most beautiful softness possible, that came like a dream in shades of pale peach, hazy lilac and gunmetal. It was all about the most powerful feminine weapon… the always sexy and romantic lingerie took over the Calvin Klein runway in beautiful dresses but with that Costa twist that felt very unexpected. The 90s iconic dress became the main reference, the starting point that was transformed into a modern and sophisticated collection in a really clever way.
The alluring dresses were perfectly paired with blazers, a flawless sartorial, and structured and architectonical details that were somehow incredibly soft. The fit and cut of the dresses was so magnificent in loose silhouettes and bustiers that felt like a super-heroine reminiscence in the least obvious way possible that felt incredibly modern and luxurious. The sky High stilettos were simply divine. And the sheering use in the final black and pale yellow outfits was majestic and so exquisite, like a peekaboo game that was very romantic and sexy… A magical dream.
