Forbes World’s Most Powerful Women 2011

Anna Wintour Is Simply Powerful-Chic

Not Intimidating

Forbes Magazines just released another one of its famous PowerLists – one of my sick obsessions – and this time, it was the ladies turn. No surprise, Angela Merkel took the first spot followed by other politician and business women as Hilary Clinton (#2), Dilma Roussef (#3), Michelle Obama (#8) and Christine Lagarde (#9) to fill the coveted top ten. But the ultra young Lady Gaga was just biting their tails landing an impressive 11th spot, ahead of Mrs. Oprah Winfrey (#14) and even the president of Argentina, Cristina Fernandez (#17). The power of the fame, money, millions of fans, mass media attention and fashion is insane and limitless.

The list was off course filled with a lot of incredibly fashionable people as the stunning super model Gisele Bündchen (#60) – the most powerful model, see the 2011 forbes list -, the incredible Miuccia Prada (#79), the always chic Diane Von Furstemberg (#91) and the amazing Anna Wintour (#69). As A Wintour Die-Hard fan is always great to see her not only on these lists, but enjoying the tell all interviews that come with it… Priceless. In these Forbes Magazine exclusive interview Mrs. Wintour talks about her fame, fashion, her life, talent and off course power, wearing an ultra chic Chanel suit . This short yet substantial interview is a great delight for her fashion followers and is worth taking a look at. Simply magnificent, Mrs. Wintour is the best and I would place her at number one for sure. Enjoy
